The introduction of HIP’s in June 2007 may necessitate that documentation hitherto
held in paper format be scanned to form part of an electronic HIP.
Moreover, printing and binding of an HIP may be a service that solicitors wish to
avail themselves of, especially if they do not have in their office the robust printers
(colour/black and white), scanners, appropriate packaging, binding materials and
skilled staff to create the required professional services that they wish to provide.

Costs are dependent upon the precise services required. For example, an electronic
and printed HIP may be branded with a solicitor's and/or associated estate agent's
corporate identity. Please see our fees section.
